February 11th marked the fifth year of NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, which is known to provide the most detailed images from the sun. It constantly monitors it 24 hours a day and records various other data for scientists to review. The probe captured 2,600 terabytes of data and over 200 million images so far. Check out the amazing video compilation they provided below. Best viewing in the dark and at 1080p.
